Going to Dallas Will Be a Fun Event This Month

While it is going to be fun to see what life has in store for me next, that doesn’t mean that I’m not feeling sentimental about my time in college coming to an end. For five years, I have lived my college experience to the fullest, and it’s weird to think that those days are officially numbered. Because I have been reflecting on all of my experiences so much, I am starting to feel like an old person! However, although I may seem gloomy about the future, I am actually quite excited. Fortunately, even though the economy is in bad shape right now, I have secured a great job for after I graduate. Since there are going to be a few weeks in between when I graduate and when I start working, I thought it would be fun to take a trip.

It took awhile to pick, but the place I am going to go is Dallas. I have never been to Dallas before, so this should be a fun experience. My trip to Dallas is going to last for a full week, so that will be plenty of time to really get to enjoy myself there. Although it was the first one I made, my flight to Dallas is not the only thing I reserved. My hotel is reserved in my name, as well as my Dallas car rental. I am always on the Internet, so it made sense that when I needed to book a Dallas car rental, I did it online.

Dallas and Spring are the Perfect Combination

Attention everyone: I want to let you know that I am incredibly excited Spring is here. I know that winter was the same length this year as it is every year, but because it was especially cold, it seemed like it lasted for longer. Fortunately, those cold days are gone for now, so they’re aren’t something I have to worry about for the time being. Instead of spending time talking about a season I don’t even like, let’s talk about how I am kicking off Spring.

A couple of weeks ago, my sister had sent me a text message and asked if I wanted to go on a trip to Dallas with her. Since I always enjoy traveling and almost all of the arrangements were taken care of, this was an offer that I couldn’t turn down. This offer really came at the perfect time, so I accepted it almost immediately and couldn’t wait to take off. When we took off for our trip, our flight went really smoothly.

After getting to the airport, we started our trip by picking up our Dallas car rental. Since we had booked our Dallas car rental prior to leaving for our trip, getting it only took a few minutes. When we got this taken care of, we knew we were ready to start enjoying ourselves. We packed so much into our five days in Dallas, and I made so many memories that will be with me for a long time to come.

Going away at the start of Spring really set things off well for me, and I feel like I have gone through a really effective cleansing period!

I’m Going Home for Spring Break

If you have an extremely crazy and exciting Spring Break planned, hearing someone say that they are going home may sound very boring to you. However, regardless of where you are going for Spring Break, I can honestly say that I am not jealous of you. I have gotten the full Spring Break experience in the past, and although it was a ton of fun, it’s just not what I was looking for this year.

Instead of my normal Spring Break routine, I am actually going home for the duration of this year’s break. The simple reason for that decision is because I am worn out. I feel like I have extended my academic and social sides to their breaking points, so I could not be happier that I will have an entire week to relax in the place where I feel the most comfortable without either of these obligations looming over my head.

Although I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t feeling extremely burnt out right now, I am confident that once I spend time at home and recharge my batteries (there’s nothing better for healing the soul than home cooking from your mother), I will be back to one hundred percent once I return to my normal life and daily routine.

My Buddy Made My Weekend in Dallas a Lot of Fun

Although I don’t necessarily live in the same city as many of my friends from the past, that doesn’t mean that we have grown apart. Maybe it’s because we are guys, but for one reason or another, even if we go long periods of time without talking, the second we get a chance to get in touch with each other (or even better, get a chance to actually see each other), it seems like we are always able to pick up right where we left off without missing a beat.

To give you an example of what I am talking about, let’s discuss my recent trip to Dallas. I was down in Dallas for a couple of days on a business trip, and once I arrived, I decided to give one of my old buddies a call. As soon as I told him I was in town, he got really excited and insisted we go to dinner together. Like always, as soon as we both got to dinner, it was just like we were back in the good ole’ days. I would have considered my trip a success just with that dinner, but my buddy wouldn’t settle for that, and whenever I wasn’t working during my trip, he found plenty of fun things to occupy my time!

The Time for Me to Move to Dallas is Almost Here

It’s honestly a little crazy to think that in less than three months, I am going to be moving from my current city down to Dallas. The reason that I am going to be making this move is because I am graduating from college in May, and as soon as I do graduate, I am going to be moving to Dallas and beginning to work at the job I accepted last November. I feel very fortunate that not only am I going to have a job (especially given the current tumultuous state of the economy and job market), but also that I am going to have a job in a city that I really like.

On top of that, I could not be more happy with the way company is taking care of me during this transitional period. They have already hired a realtor for me, and in a little under a month, they are going to pay for me to fly down to Dallas, have a rental car and stay in a hotel for several days while I spend my time looking at the potential houses the realtor has found for me in the Houston area.

I Think I’ll End Up in Dallas

I’m currently in my second year of college, and I can’t even describe how much I like college life. I’m doing really well in school, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t know how to have a great time. Since I joined a fraternity at the beginning of my freshman year, I have gotten to experience college life to the fullest extent possible. Plus, since our fraternity’s motto is “Work Hard, Play Hard,” you can probably imagine how much fun I have had, while at the same time staying on top of my grades.

Although my graduation is over two years away (which is fine, because I am on track to graduate on time), I have thought from time to time about what I’m going to do after college. While I’m in no rush for it to be over, I realize that college isn’t going to last forever. One place where I really think I may end up is Dallas. There are a lot of companies in my field that have their headquarters there, and after taking a trip to Dallas over the recent winter break, I am confident that it is a place where I could be quite happy.

I’ll Be in Dallas for the Holidays

Wow, it really feels like the last year has flown by. I guess the reason that it feels like this is because I have been extremely busy for just about the entire year. Fortunately, even though the year went by pretty quickly, things went really well throughout the year. Even though I am putting in a ton of time at work, it all seems to be paying off for me quite well. Given how well the last year has gone, I am really excited to see what 2009 is like. I have really high hopes for the upcoming year, and I think all of the things that I am wanting to happen during this year are going to come true.

However, before this year comes to a complete end, I do have the holidays to look forward to. Since the majority of my family lives in and around Dallas, that is where I will be spending this holiday season. I’m not going to get to spend a ton of time down there (since I have to get back to work fairly quickly), but I am looking forward to the time that I do get to spend with my family members.

Going Home for the Holidays

Although it was where I grew up, I don’t get to spend a lot of time in Dallas anymore. The reason for this is because after I graduated from college, I got offered a job in Phoenix, and that is where I have been living and working ever since. While I normally don’t get to spend any significant amount of time in Dallas, there is one time of the year when this isn’t true. When the holiday season comes around, I always make sure that my schedule is going to allow me to go spend a good amount of time in Dallas with all of my family members.

Since I don’t get to see them that often, it is always so much fun to go home and see my family. I love them with all of my heart, and even though I don’t know if it will ever be possible, I would love to move back to Dallas so that I could get to spend more time with them. However, even though that may not happen, I am still fortunate that I get to spend the holiday season with them every single year.

If You’re Taking a Trip There, Be Sure to Rent in Dallas

Dallas is a nice city. Therefore, if you are taking a trip there, you are going to have an enjoyable experience. However, to ensure that you don’t miss out on anything that you want to do, you need to be sure that you rent in Dallas during your trip. The reason that I’m telling you that renting in Dallas is a good idea is because it will give you the ability to easily do all of the things that you want to do.

Instead of worrying about transportation or wasting time waiting around for your transportation to arrive, once you have a rental car in Dallas, you will be able to drive around to wherever you want to go. Whether it’s a restaurant for lunch or a movie theater to enjoy the latest blockbuster that’s out, renting in Dallas will solve any issues you have with transportation.

If you don’t really know how to rent a car for your trip to Dallas, all you need to do is get online (which you already are since you’re reading this post), and you will find that it’s actually quite easy to make a car rental reservation for your trip to Dallas.

Catching Up With Old Friends in Dallas

After I graduated college two years ago, I landed a job with a company that is located in Arizona. Although I have enjoyed Arizona quite a bit, several of my good friends from college ended up landing jobs in Dallas, so they obviously had to move down there. Even though we keep in touch on a regular basis, it was definitely strange adjusting to life without seeing them everyday.

Because they had come to Arizona to visit me, I decided it was my turn to visit them. I decided to take a four day trip to Dallas, so I booked my flight (along with a rental car) through a price comparison website. Using this kind of website allowed me to get a ticket for a very low price.

I’m so glad that I made the time to take a trip to Dallas, because we all had a wonderful time hanging out together. Although they obviously spend a lot more time together than I get to, during the four days I was there, I felt like a part of the group, just as I had for the majority of my college career.
