I haven’t taken a trip to Dallas for over ten years. However, it isn’t because I don’t like Dallas. The reason that I haven’t taken a trip to Dallas in over ten years is because it is now the place that I call home! After taking a trip there about eleven years ago, my company offered me a position that would require me to move to Dallas. Because it was a place that I had liked so much during my trip there, I promptly agreed to make the move, and haven’t ever regretted it.

Since I have been in Dallas for ten years now, I know it quite well, which is why I’m going to share some places you need to visit when you take a trip to Dallas:

White Rock Lake Park: Whether you want to go on a hike, see if you can catch some fish or simply enjoy nature, this is a beautiful place to go. I go there on a regular basis (because I enjoy cycling), and know quite well how easy it is to spend a pleasant afternoon there.

Zero Gravity Thrill Amusement Park: With five extreme thrill rides (including the classic Bungee Jump), this is a great place to go and get your adrenaline pumping. A true adrenaline junkie can handle all five rides, while a more reserved person may be able to get their full adrenaline fix from just one.

Dallas World Aquarium: This amazing aquarium tunnel gives you a sense that you are almost part of all the amazing underwater life that you get to see.
