Last week, my kid’s had their fall break from school, and because I knew ahead of time that I would have no problem getting a few days off from work, we decided that it would be fun to take a trip somewhere. Since we were only going to be gone for a few days, we knew that it wouldn’t be a huge trip, but it would still be a fun way to get out and do something different.

After considering a few different destinations, we decided to go visit some of our family members in Dallas. We were able to get a great deal on airline tickets, and even though our family said not to worry about it, we also reserved our own rental car online. I knew that my family would be willing to drive us around, but having a rental car seemed like it would just make things easier.

When we arrived in Dallas, I quickly found out that my decision to get a rental car was good one. On multiple occasions, my kids wanted to go different places than the rest of my family, and having a rental car allowed me to take them to several very fun places throughout our trip to Dallas.
